What we did

The waterfront area of Baltic Quay at Grangemouth was recognised as having potential to attract business development as long as the existing industrial development was contained, and environmental improvements were carried out.

ASH was commissioned by Forth Valley Enterprise in conjunction with Forth Ports PLC to undertake the work which comprised:  feasibility; site appraisal; masterplan proposals; schematic design; detailed design and supervision during implementation.

ASH worked closely with the land owners Forth Ports throughout the commercial development project.

ASH prioritised the enhancement works into three phases with the first phase concentrating on the main approach, the spine road through the site and enhancement of new commercial development plots suitable for business use.

Detailed designs were prepared and costed and ASH was retained to monitor the implementation of the works and maintenance period thereafter.
