What we did
ASH was appointed by Dunbar Harbour Trust to carry out a landscape and visual impact assessment in respect of an important harbour extension. Dunbar is a busy and picturesque fishing harbour in East Lothian and an additional breakwater was proposed at the entrance to the harbour, which is currently challenging to access in certain weather and sea conditions. The study involved townscape and landscape assessment as well as the assessment of views from nearby John Muir Country Park. Photomontages and ZTVs were produced in order to aid the assessment process.
